"Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created." Revelation 4:11

In the past one hundred years, man, the creature, has robbed God of the honor and glory of being the Creator. Man has done this by believing, without examination, the very unscientific theory of Evolution. In this mighty worship service in Heaven in Revelation chapter four, the first thing that all God's people do is praise Him for the wonder of being our Creator. It is as if Heaven will say, "God has been robbed of His glory for creating all things. We must give Him all the glory first of all."

Creation means to bring something "out of nothing," ex nihilo (Latin). Evolution says everything came from something already present with the "God of Chance" controlling this random process over 14.3 billion years. You see, the Evolutionist has more faith in his unproven, unscientific theory than some Christians do in the God of the Bible. Evolution is a direct assault on God and His Word. Evolution says man came from a lower species, while all the proven facts of science show that one species never changes into another species. Yet, gullible men choose Evolution over Creation.

Why do we choose to reject God's Word? Sadly, one effect of the Fall of man and his sin is that we run and hide from God today just like Adam did in the Garden of Eden. Thomas Huxley popularized Darwin's theory of Evolution and introduced the concept of Agnosticism to the public. Huxley said, "We believe in Evolution because if we do not, the only alternative is Creation, and that would mean belief in God which would be unacceptable."

Evolution is actually a religion. It is a philosophy not science. It is a way of looking at life and moral choices that can exclude God as unnecessary. Evolution leads mankind into despair. If we do not have a Creator, life has no unifying purpose. Immorality, abortion, and euthanasia in our world's culture are the direct result of the religion of Evolution.

Creation makes us human beings special as those created in the image of a loving God Who has a purpose and plan for all His creatures. Life has meaning, hope, joy, and a future since Creation is true.

Best of all, we know the Creator's name. His name is the Lord Jesus Christ. "His dear Son... for by Him were all things created, that are in Heaven, and that are in earth." Colossians 1:13,16

What could be more joyfully magnificent than this? The God Who spoke the universe into existence is the same God Who died on the Cross for our sins. We don't have to wonder what kind of Creator this God is. He is a God of love. The hands that flung the stars into endless space were also nailed to a Cross for His creatures. We can rest in hope in such a Creator-God. The Creator is also a Redeemer. No wonder all Heaven praises Him. We must praise Him, too!

He made us for His pleasure. We find our highest joy by putting God first in our lives. Jesus said, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33 You were created to be a worship center. This is your greatest fulfillment.

"This is my Father's world;

The battle is not done.

Jesus Who died shall be satisfied;

And Earth and Heaven be one."
